ClassNK to hold 'PrimeManagement' seminar in Kuala Lumpur & Mumbai

Leading Classification Society ClassNK (Chairman and President: Noboru Ueda) will hold PrimeManagement seminars on 20th September 2012 at the Prince Hotel and Residence, in Kuala Lumpur, and on 3rd October 2012, at the Leela Mumbai, in Mumbai.

ClassNK PrimeManagement is a total management certification service package, including various certification services provided by the Society, such as ISO and other management systems related to safety & environment preservation, and the certification as a third party of education & training and working conditions of the crew.

With the seminars will be presentation and explanation of the ILO’s Maritime Labour Convention 2006, which are set to enter into force in August of next year, and the ECDIS Certification related to the STCW Convention. Furthermore, regarding the seminar held in Mumbai, a demonstration of ECDIS equipment will take place with the support of Japan Marine Science Inc., Japan Radio Co. Ltd, and Furuno Electric Co., Ltd.

Also, the Society will install a special booth and offer individual answers to participants’ questions.
